Executive Director of Indonesia Halal Watch, Ikhsan Abdullah (left) and Director of the Association of Food and Drugs and Cosmetics MUI, Lukmanul Hakim (right), became a speaker in the Talkshow "Founding the Halal and Indonesian Sharia Industry" in Jakarta, Wednesday (21/8/2019). Based on Global Islamic Economy 2018/2019, Indonesia spent 170 billion US dollars (IDR2465 trillion) for halal food products, placing Indonesia in the first rangking of 10 countries with the largest halal food expenditure in the world.
