EDUCATING PLANTING TREES IN FORESTS DEGRADED IN RIAU

A Japanese citizen taught the primary school students to plant trees in the small Giam Siak area, Riau Province, Tuesday (3/9/2019). Ten Japanese citizens collaborate with Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) Sinar Mas, International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), Belantara Foundation, and local communities to plant trees in Riau, which in this year targets 10,000 local tree seedlings in degraded forests.
