School Head SDN 56 Andri Saputra (left) accompanied a number of Indonesian asylum seekers from Afghanistan on the first day of school in SDN 56, Pekanbaru City, Riau, Tuesday (1/10/2019). The government of Indonesia for the first time accommodates 61 asylum seekers who have a foreign refuge to be able to school in the country’s primary school, and Pekanbaru City is selected as a pilot area.
