LIPI RESEARCHERS FIND NEW SPECIES KODOK WAYANG

Indonesia Institute of Sciences (LIPI) research shows a new species of wayang kodok in Widyasatwaloka Building Laboratory, LIPI Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java, Tuesday (8/10/2019). LIPI’s Biology Research Center successfully found three new species kodok wayang from Sumatra’s highland forest, Sigalegalephrynus gayoluesensis from Aceh and Sigalegalephrynus burnitelongensis from Burni Telong mountains, Aceh found in North Sumatra while Sigalegalephrynus harveyi originated from Dempo mountains, South Sumatra.
