GEDOG TEMPLE SITE

Cultural Cultivation Officer (BPCB) Trowulan identified a location that allegedly constitutes part of the Gedog Temple site when digging (Ekskavasi) in the rice area in the Sananwetan Subdistrict Gedog Village, Blitar City, East Java, Thursday (10/10/2019). BPCB Trowulan’s Expedition team managed to find the section of the door and the temple fence allegedly has an area of about 25 square meters with the brick structure, and from the finding results, the team estimated the Gedog Temple site is a temple of the Majapahit Kingdom era.
