NEW WATERNAV TOWER IN YIA

The officers observe the aircraft landing from the tower or tower belonging to AirNav Indonesia in Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA), Kulon Progo, IN Yogyakarta, Wednesday (16/10/2019). Since August 2019 AirNav Indonesia has operated a new ATC tower with a type of aerodrome control tower (ADC) service for air planes landing and flying in YIA, while for air aircraft in Yogyakarta air room with 2,000 to 24.500 feet will be served by the approach control unit (APP) located in Adi Sutjipto Airport which has been equipped with radar Surveillance with coverage to 210 nautical miles.
