EVACUATION OF ELEPHANTS SUMATERA

The Medical Officer of the Natural Resources Conservation (BBKSDA) Riau Province provides infusion fluid to an injured wild sumatera elephant child when evacuation in Mandau River District, Siak Regency, Riau, Wednesday (16/10/2019). Gajah sumatera (Elephas maximus sumatranus) a year-lived male was wounded in the legs due to the hunter’s congratulations so that the BBKSDA Riau should evacuate the protected satwa to the Gajah Training Center in Minas for further treatment.
