EXKAIVATION SITE FENCE KUMITIR MOJOKERTO

The Directorate of Cultural and Per Museuman Cultivation, Directorate General of Culture, conducting the execution of the fence site in the red brick making of Dusun Bendo, Kumitir Village, Jatirejo District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java, Monday (28/10/2019). According to the chairman of the Kumitir site’s expiration team, the ancient building is most likely to be a talud or a temple complex land retaining wall or elite settlement in the era of Majapahit kingdom, and is estimated that the talud length is more than 100 meters.
