MADIUN, 22/6 Ð DEMO PETANI TEBU. Hundreds of sugar farmers from Madiun, Ponorogo, Magetan and Ngawi, East Java conducted a demo action in front of the secretary of the People’s Tebu Farm Association (APTR), near the Pagottan Sugar Plant, Madiun, East Java, Tuesday (22/6). They reject the value (PPn) Tax bankruptcy of 10 percent charged to farmers, and urgent the central government to oversee the circulation of Rafination Crystal Sugar (GKR) that flood the market to result in the fall of the price of farmers’ sugar.
