ORANGUTAN REHABILITATION
PONTIANAK, 22/6 - WHITE REHABILITATION. Seekor Orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus pygmaeus) is 2 years old, embracing medical officers from International Animal Rescue (IAR), on the Conservation Hall and Natural Resources (BKSDA), Pontianak, Kalbar, Tuesday (22/6). Orangutans who are successfully secured by the Special Unit of the Fast Reaction Police (SPORC) Brigade Bekantan from animal trading players are protected when they are sold for Rp3 million, will be rehabilitated before being released back to the forest.
