OPTIMIZATION OF DRY LAND FOR AGRICULTURE

A number of farmers tested the corn planting facilities for the Ministry of Agriculture in the Forest utilization area of Social Forestry (PHPS) covering 800 hectares in Besole, Tulungagung, East Java, Saturday (23/11/2019). A variety of efforts to do the government to increase agricultural production, one of them by optimizing the utilization of dry lands that are nationally about 14 million hectares, so the target of agricultural production in particular the group "pajale" increases, which is the current rice (2018) targeted 52.8 million tons to 59 million tons in 2020, corn from 29,3 million tons to 31,3 million tons, and soy from 0.48 million tons to 0.6 million tons.
