OFFICIAL PRESIDENT OF NEW POLYETHYLENE FACTORY

President Joko Widodo (second left) accompanied by Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita (right) combined with the Founder of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (CAP) Prajogo Pangestu (second right), witnessed President Director Chandra Asri Erwin Ciputra (left) inaugurated the new polyethylene (PE) CAP factory in Cilegon, Friday (6/12/2019). With the addition of a new factory capacity of 400 thousand tons per year the total production capacity of Polyethylene CAP overall reaches 736 thousand tons per year from previous only 336 thousand tons per year expected to be the import substitution so it is able to save the country’s devisa reaching Rp8 trillion and absorb 3,000 labor during its development period.
