SUMATRA ELEPHANT BONE IDENTIFICATION

The Conservation of Natural Resources (BKSDA) Aceh and the Reskrim Polres Aceh Jaya personnel conducted the identification of the bones of the Sumatran elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus) at Mapolres Aceh Jaya, Aceh, Thursday (2/1/2020). The team of BKSDA Aceh and Polres Aceh Jaya found five sumatra elephants remaining bones in the palm plantation area in the village of Tuwi Priya Kecamatan Pasie Raya Regency Aceh Jaya which was allegedly died due to high-voltage currents.
