President Joko Widodo appointed Palembang City as one of the 12 cities in Indonesia as the construction location of Garbage Power Plant (PLTSa) which is a capacity of 1,000 tons of trash per day and can produce 20 Megawatt electricity with investment value of Rp1,7 trillion, which will begin to be built in mid 2020 and targeted by 2022 year.
