KAKAO FRUIT PRODUCTION DECREASES

Farmers sprinkle cacao fruit seeds in its plantation area in Alue Papeun Village, Jambo Aye District, North Aceh, Aceh, Friday (13/3/2020). Local farmers admit, since the last six months of production of kakao experienced a decrease of up to 50 percent due to attacking pests of kakao fruit (Conopomorpha cramerella) and rotten fruit disease (Phytophthora palmivora) as well as hepai pest attack.
