FARM DAY ACTION

JAKARTA, 24/9 - ACSI DAY TANI. Thousands of masses combined in the Indonesian Farmers (SPI) conducted an action in order to commemorate the 50th National Tani Day in front of the State Palace, Jakarta, Friday (24/9). They submitted a number of demands to the government among other settlements of agrarian conflicts, the implementation of Agrarian Tree Law No. 5 Years 1960, to land redistribution to farmers through national agrarian reform.
