GERUNG, 14/10 - BATIK SASAMBO. A santriwati accompanied by her congregation teacher completed the creation of batik fabric "Sasambo" (Sasak, Samawa and Mbojo) produced in Pondok Pesantren Tarbiyathul Ikhlas, in Kembar Bridge Village, Sub-district Sheet, Gerung, West Lombok, NTB, Thursday (14/10). Batik sasambo specializing in West Nusa Tenggara area such as custom home motives, swabs, cabe, pearls and gerabah are currently still marketed for local needs only at the prices ranging from Rp.80 thousand to Rp.250 per batik sheet depending on the motif and difficulty rate.
