TRADITION OPEN LUWUR TOMB SUNAN KUDUS

People carry the mori fabric of the Holy Sunan tomb cover to be replaced with a new one when the procession opens the luwur in the village of the People, the Holy, Central Java, Thursday (20/8/2020). The tradition held once a year which coincided at 1 Muharam or One Sura, to commemorate Haul (wafat) of the Holy Sunan is one of the nine guardians (wali Songo), the character of the spread of Islamic religion in Java.
