CULTIVATION FLIES BSF ORGANIC WASTE DECOMPOSITION

A number of black soldiers flies (Hermetia illucen) or Black Soldier Fly (BSF) cultivated in the Postco of the Putat River Community (KSP) in Siantan, Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Monday (25/1/2021). The cultivation of flies that produce maggot (larva) is useful to decompose organic waste to three times the weight of the body, as well as can be an alternative feed for fish and poultry sold at Rp10 thousand per kilogram.
