FIRE FOREST WEEKLY

A firefighter of Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Pekanbaru retreated due to the lack of water supply during the fire treatment of PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia’s protected forests with public lands in Rumbai Pes comb District, Pekanbaru City, Monday night (1/3/2021). The Riau Provincial Government has established the status of the Forest and Land Fire Emergency (Karhutla) since February 15th to October 31st, 2021, because the potential of the fire was very high due to Riau experienced the long dry season.
