PRESERVATION OF SIDE TURTLE ON THE ISLAND OF SABIRA

Seekor tukik or sided turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) runs towards the shores of the cliffs released by the Pondok Semi Natural Turtles community at Sabira Island, Seribu Islands Regency, Jakarta District, Friday (18/6/2021). A number of islands located at the north end of the Thousand Islands conducts egg rescue and sided turtle conservation in the waters of Sebira Island periodically released when the age is sufficient to avoid protected animals from extinction due to wild hunts by humans and eaten by his predators in free nature.
