ARUH BAWANANG POWER MERATUS

The Meratus Dayak Society conducts the Bekanjar dance that marks in the beginning of the aruh (ritual) Bawanang (peen padi) at Balai Adat Dusun Bayawana, Central River Hulu District, South Kalimantan, Saturday (17/7/2021) overnight. The Dayak community at the Meratus Mountain legs made the annual tradition of Aruh Bawanang aimed at grateful from abundant rice harvest results in this year and maintaining the tradition of Meratus Dayak culture customs as well as prayer and hope.
