RENEWABLE ENERGY TARGET 2030

Workers perform operational supervisions in the Earth’s Hot Power Plant Area (PLTP) Lahendong, Tomohon, North Sulawesi, Thursday (29/7/2021). Based on the draft of the National Power Supply Business Plan (RUPTL) the State Electrical Company (PLN) 2021-2030, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) targets the portion of the New Energy-based power generation (EBT) of 48 percent or 20 gigawatts (GW), increased by 30 percent compared to RUPTL 2019-2028 and in the future ten years of proposal the addition of the plant reaches 41 gigawatt (GW).
