ORANGUTAN SUMATRA

Seekor Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelii) is in the cage when arriving at the Kualanamu Airport Cargo Terminal, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, Thursday (19/8/2021). In the framework of the International Orangutan Day, the Great Hall of Conservation of Natural Resources (BBKSDA) North Sumatra (Sumut) received a nine-tailed beginner of the wildlife, one of the Indonesian orangutans and eight Beo Medan’s tails originated from community submissions and treated at the Tegal Alur (PPSTA) Satwa Rescue Center managed by KSDA DKI Jakarta.
