DEVELOPMENT OF COFFEE PLANTS IN MERATUS MOUNTAINS

Chairman of the Indonesian Farmer (SPI) South Kalimantan Dwi Putera Kurniawan showed a growing coffee fruit in Meratus Mountains in the Village of Tools, Hulu Central River, South Kalimantan, Thursday (26/8/2021). SPI South Kalimantan plans the Central River Hulu Regency to be the center of the development of coffee plants in South Kalimantan by preparing 100 thousand coffee seedlings that will be planted in the villages of the interior as an effort to increase the economy of society, until today SPI Kalsel has found three types of coffee plants growing in the Meratus Mountain region, namely the types of coffee Robusta, Liberika and Experiment.
