EVACUATION OF SUMATERA ORANGUTANS IN ACEH

The joint officer of BBKSDA Aceh, Yayasan Ekosystem Leuser (YEL) and Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme (SOCP) evacuates one of two Sumatran Orangutans (Pongo Abelii) in the Village of Bakti Source, Darul Makmur District, Nagan Raya, Aceh, Saturday (25/9/2021). BBKSDA Aceh with YEL and SOCP managed to evacuate the two-tails of Sumatran Orangutans with adult male sex and adolescent female in the oil palm plantation area of citizens to then undergo treatment in the reintroduction center of Orangutan in Jantho, Large Aceh.
