MEDAN, 6/5 - SAMBUT WAISAK. A bocah lighted the candle when following the 100,000 Waisak Marine Candle in Merdeka Square, Medan, Thursday (5/5) night. Hundreds of Buddhists from a variety of ethnicities following the path of joint prayer and ignorance of 10,000 candles held in order to welcome the Waisak Day 2011/2555 BE which falls on May 17th.
