JAKARTA, May 8 – MEDIATING CAMBODIA-THAILAND. Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (right) welcomes Cambodia Prime Minister Hun Sen (left) at Jakarta Convention Center, venue of the 18th ASEAN Summit on May 7-8, 2011. With President Yudhoyono as ASEAN chair and facilitator, the Cambodian and Thai leaders meet directly for the first time, Sunday, on the sidelines of the summit and discuss ways for solving their border conflict where their military have traded fires resulting in many people killed on both sides.
