TAILING DISPOSAL PERMISSION

JAKARTA, 11/5 - IZIN TAILING PIPE. Minister of ESDM Darwin Zahedy Saleh (center) and Dirjen Minerba Thamrin Sihite (left) said the explanation of President Director of PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (NNT) Martiono Hadianto when the press jumpa is the renewal of the new permission of tailing disposal (minent mine) in the ESDM Badiklat building, Jakarta, Wednesday (11/5). Martiono Hadianto said PT NNT has adhered to all the rules of a tailing disposal permit into the sea in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Environment such as disposing in the depth of 3,000 - 4,000 meters in the sea base with the raw water quality 0.5 PPM and the amount is 51.4 million tons per year, smaller when compared to the previous permit namely 1 PPM and 58.4 million tons.
