MELBOURNE, 21/5 - BATIK WALK. A number of student representatives and Indonesians cut the tumpeng as the "Batik Walk" event in the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) Melbourne, Australia Friday (20/5) night. Activities attended by hundreds of members of PPIA (Australian Student Association) and IECA (Australian Community Expat) to showcase and introduce batik as one of the Indonesian native cultural arts to Australians.
