Farmer harvested peanuts in Paron Village rice fields, Kediri, East Java, Friday (29/10/2021). Farmers in the area choose to plant peanuts rather than other palawija plants because it is able to return the nutrient elements in the soil, the harvest period is fast at the age of 80 days, resistant to weather anomalies, and the selling price is stable at the range of Rp10 thousand to Rp11 thousand per kilogram so it is more guaranteed for its profit.
