MEETING EXCOM SEANWFZ

NUSA DUA, 17/7 - EXCOM SEANWFZ REVISION. The ASEAN Cooperation Director (SOM-Leader) RI Djauhari Oratmangun (right) combined with the Senior Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia-ASEAN Soeung Rathchavy before leading the Executive Meeting of Committee the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon Free Zone (SEANWFZ) in the archipelago 2, Bali International Convention Centre (BICC), Nusa Dua, Bali, Sunday (17/7). The meeting includes discussing further development of the SEANWFZ Protocol access process by Nuclear Weapons States/NWS (the nations of nuclear weapons owners), reviewing the Plan of Action of SEANWFZ, the cooperation opportunities with nuclear weapons free zones in other regions as well as the ASEAN commitment to support the development of SEANWFZ and international recognition through the UN Resolution on the SEANWFZ submission on the UN to-66 General Assembly that has been discussed earlier in the 4 Working Group EXCOM SEANWFZ meeting.
