The volunteer of the Environmental Journalist Forum (FJL) Aceh encoded rare animals and protected elephant sumatera (Elephas maximus sumatranus) benign at Conservation Response Unit (CRU) Sampoiniet, Aceh Jaya, Aceh, Saturday (5/3/2022). FJL Aceh obtained data mentions the population of sumatera elephants currently ranges from 1,600 to 2,000 individuals scattered in Aceh province, North Sumatra, Riau, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bengkulu and Lampung.
