NYADRAN CHAMAT TRADITION

The people carry the mountains of Argo Boga when it is roughly in the tradition of Nyadran Kramat in Dusun Pete, Kembangsari, Cage, Temanggung, Central Java, Friday (25/3/2022). Locals routinely held the tradition of Nyadran Kramat every two years at Friday Kliwon Monthly Ruwah by slaughting dozens of goat tails as a form of tribute to the character of Mataram Ki Joyokusumo’s kingdom that is trusted as the founder of the village as well as a manifestation of gratitude to God YME for prosperity and wellbeing.
