THE OLDEST MOSQUE IN THE CITY OF PEKALONGAN

Based on the patience of the General Chairman of the Masjid Jami Aulia Sapuro KH Ahmad Dananir Dananjoyo Mosque, Jami Aulia Sapuro Mosque which is the oldest mosque in Pekalongan City was estimated to be built in 1625 Masehi (1035 H) by four demak messengers namely Kiai Maxum, Kiai Sulaiman, Kiai Lukman and Kiai Kudung with mosque building woods and other wood parts are the remaining construction of the Great Mosque Demak built in 1479 Masehi.
