CONSTRUCTION OF SMELTER PT NIS

Vice President Ma’aruf Amin (right) gave a speech accompanied by the Minister of Labor Ida Fauziyah (center) and the Governor of Southeast Sulawesi Ali Mazi (left) before disclaiming the first stone of smelter development belonging to PT Nusantara Industri Sejati (NIS) in Motui District, North Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi, Thursday (19/5/2022). PT NIS will build smelter with Rotary Kiln-Electris Furnice (RKEF) technology with a capacity of 500 thousand tons of feronicel per year, with a nickel content of 10 to 12 percent with an area area on the first stage of about 375 hectares.
