SMOKE MOUNT SEMERU

Gunung Semeru issued a smoke that appears from Supiturang Village, Pronojiwo, Lumajang, East Java, Sunday (5/6/2022). The Center of Vulkanology and Mitigasi Disaster Geology (PVMBG) declared Gunung Semeru still status level three or standby and urge the community to not activity at a distance of 500 meters from the riverside (the river mix) along the Kobokan Curah or the lahar flow to a distance of 17 km from the peak due to the potential to the expansion of the hot cloud.
