ASCC MEETING

SEMARANG, 10/10 - ASCC COUNCIL MEEETING. ASEAN ministers appear during the 6th ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Council Meeting in Semarang, Central Java province, October 10, 2011. It was confirmed that the meeting would not discuss protection and promotion of migrant rights as there were not yet agreements between countries that send migrant workers (Indonesia, The Philippines, Thailand, and Myanmar) and destination countries of the migrant workers (Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei).
