ACADEMIC CRUISE EXPEDITION

MAKASSAR, 11/10 - ACADEMIC SAIL EXPEDITION. Hasanuddin University's Nature Lovers Corps Team (Korpala) sail on Mandar's traditional boat "Sandeq" during the Academic Sail Expedition to Darwin, Australia, off the Main Naval Base (Lantamal) VI Layang Mako Dock in Makassar, South Sulawesi province, October 11, 2011. The team were set to sail on Tuesday, trailing the steps of the ancestors from Sulawesi to Australia, as a part of maritime anthropological research. The academic expedition will last for 40 days.
