INSTALL GPS COLLAR ELEPHANT SUMATERA IN JAMBI

The rescue team of PT Restorasi Ekosystem Indonesia (REKI) under the supervision of the BKSDA Jambi Zulmanudin animal doctor installed GPS collar (GPS war) to a Sumatran elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus) which has been used in the concession elephant corridor PT REKI, Pauh, Sarolangun, Jambi, Wednesday (29/6/2022). PT REKI with BKSDA Jambi targeted the installation of three GPS collars in this year for three Sumatran elephant individuals from eight Sumatran elephant individuals in local concessions as a conflict mitigation effort and facilitate the monitoring of breeding.
