NUSANTARA FESTIVAL IN PAPUA

The number of dancers from Ayapo villages voted Akhokoy dance dance in Fesival Nusantara, Kalkote Sentani Beach, Jayapura Regency, Papua, Thursday (28/7/2022). A number of dancers from Ayapo Village brings Akhokoy Dance in the Nusantara Festival, Akhokoy Dance originated from the village of the Yat Yokiwa on the edge of the Sentani Lake has the meaning of raising the magnitude of the Ondoafi figure or the People’s respected indigenous Head and reflecting the joy of the three tribes of the inhabitants of Yokiwa, among other tribes of Awoitauw, the Fiobetauw tribe, as well as the Mimitauw tribe.
