PINARUH BANYU DAY IN BALI

A number of Hindus submerged in the water when performing rituals of Merukat or purifying themselves on Banyu Pinaruh Day on Sanur Beach, Denpasar, Bali, Sunday (23/10/2022). Banyu Pinaruh’s Day is a procession that is celebrated by one-day Hindus after the Hari Raya Saraswati believed to be a good time to purify and clean themselves as well as spiritual thoughts by performing the rituals of the Ocean or other sacred spring sources.
