CHAIRMAN OF NEW ASEAN

NUSA DUA, Bali, Nov. 19 – NEW ASEAN CHAIRMAN. Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia holds up a wooden gavel symbolizing chairmanship of ASEAN for 2012, after receiving it from Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as the previous chairman as 6th East Asia Summit at Bali Intercontinental Convention Center (BICC), Nusa Dua, Bali, winds up on Saturday. With the United States and Russia attending for first time, the leaders in the meeting adopt two declarations, EAS Declaration on Mutually Beneficial Cooperation Principles and EAS Declaration on ASEAN Connectivity.
