STONE TRANSPORT WORKERS

MAGELANG, 20/11 - BURUH ANGKUT BATU. A number of workers transport Merapi stones crossing the Pabelan river in the Chromgowanan Village, Sawangan, Magelang, Jateng, Saturday (19/11). The abundance of volcanic material that hanyut from the summit of Mount Merapi became a source of income for residents of the Merapi slope region, by working into a coal transporter from the river to the roadside with a wage of Rp1.750 perbuah, and in a day can transport 30 stones.
