SAMARINDA, 19/12 - ORANGUTAN SKELETONS. Researchers from Mulawarman University's Tropical Forest Research Centre identify skeletons of Bornean Orangutans (Pongo pygmaeus morio) in Samarinda, December 19, 2011. These orangutans were suspectedly slaughtered in the palm oil plantation area of PT. CPS, Muara Ancalong, East Kutai, East Kalimantan province. PPHT had identified 20 orangutan skeletons that were suspectedly slaughtered, and the police had stated three employees of PT CPS as suspects in the slaughter case.
