RITUAL SITHIRAI MAHA PUJA IN ACEH

The Hindu ethnic Tamil practising the thaipusam rituals in the celebration of the Maha Puja Sithirai in Banda Aceh, Aceh, Sunday (30/4/2023). Thaipusam is celebrated by body piercings using sharp objects it is done to celebrate the victory of the Spirit of Murugan and the manifestation of gratitude for prosperity, protected from all diseases and disasters as well as rezeki limps.
