MEAT IMPORT QUOTA

According to the Meat Importer Association (Aspidi), in 2012 the government set the import quota of beef (freeze and fresh) of 85,000 tons or 17.5 percent of the total national needs of 485.714 tons, while the import quota of beef is only 311.545 the tail is equivalent to 51.000 tons of frozen beef.
