Tokyo, 14/9 President BJ Habibie held a talk with the Thailand Surin Pitsuwan (left) who came to visit honor, at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday (14/9/1999). Pitsuwan, in addition to discussing the improvement of relations between the two countries also conveys the desire of his country to become the leadership of the UN peace troops in the East Timor region.
