Waisak Celebration in West Kalimantan

Buddhism followed the ceremony of bathing Buddha rupang or the baby Siddharta in the celebration of Waisak 2567 BE at Vihara Vajra Bumi Kertayuga, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan, Sunday (4/6/2023). The celebration of the 2567 BE/2023 is a celebration of three important events in Buddhism, the birth of Sidharta Gautama, the Buddha gained enlightenment, and the death of the Buddha.
