PLANTING SEASON

MAGELANG, 6/12 - MUSIM TANAM. A number of people began to plant rice for this year’s final land season in Tirto village farm, Salam District, Magelang Regency, Jateng, Thursday (6/12). Statictis’s central body estimates the production of rice for 2007 rose 2.59 million tons or about 4.76 percent than 2006 due to the increasing harvest area of 379,18 thousand hectares and increased productivity 0.07 tons per hectare.
